■ Countdown timer
Timer accuracy is not the same as that of a professional instrument. therefore,
Nokia advises against its use for official competitions or any other event in which
a high-precision device would be required to establish exact times.
You can set an alarm to sound after a period of lapsed time.
1. Select
Menu
>
Extras
>
Countd. tim.
2. Enter the countdown time (hh:mm), and select OK.
3. Enter a note for the countdown, if desired, and select OK.
While the timer is running, you can select
Change time
or
Stop
timer.
When the timer is running,
time is reached, a tone sounds, the display flashes, and the alarm note appears.
Press any key to stop the alarm.
■ Stopwatch
The stopwatch can be used for time measurement, such as in sports.
Using the stopwatch or allowing it to run in the background when using other
features increases the demand on battery power and reduces the battery life.

to stop timing.
3. When the timing is stopped, select
If you select Start, timing continues from the previous stop time.
