71 Installing iR C2100/2100S software and fonts
2. If you have previously configured a connection to the iR C2100/2100S, then
you are ready to use ColorWise Pro Tools. If you have not configured a
connection, click Add.
3. Enter the appropriate information for the iR C2100/2100S.
—Enter a name for the iR C2100/2100S. This can be any name
Nickname
you wish; it does not have to match the actual server name of the iR C2100/
2100S.
The nickname cannot contain any of the following seven characters:

—Choose the type of network protocol you are using from the pop-

up menu. ColorWise Pro Tools is supported only with TCP/IP, so no
selection is necessary.
—Enter the IP address (or DNS or hosts name) of the
Server Name
iR C2100/2100S.
—Enter the name of the device the iR C2100/2100S is connected
New Device
to:
2100S-2100
. This device name appears in the Printer Setup section of the
Configuration page.
4. When you have added all the information, click Add.
5. With the device name (2100S-2100) selected in the Devices list, click OK.
The iR C2100/2100S appears in the list of available servers. The first line of
the entry displays the nickname you gave the server, followed by the protocol.
The second line displays the device name.
