Procedure Place the computer with the side-chassis facing up. Disconnect the power cables and the data cables from the hard-drive assembly. Remove the screw (#6-32xL3.6) that secures the hard-drive assembly to the drive cage.

Slide the hard-drive assembly, and lift it off the drive cage. Remove the four screws (M3xL3.5) that secure the hard drive to the hard-drive bracket.

Procedure Locate the memory module on the system board. Using your fingertips, carefully spread apart the securing clip at each end of the memory-module slot until the memory module pops up.

Slide and remove the memory module from the memory-module slot. CAUTION: To prevent damage to the memory module, hold the memory module by the edges. Do not touch the components on the memory module. NOTE: If the memory module is difficult to remove, gently ease the memory module back and forth to remove it from the slot.
