Backing Up/Exporting Data
Various data such as the received data, address book, and Settings/Registration settings are stored on
the internal memory of the machine.
A malfunction in the memory may cause these data to be lost. Please regularly back up/export your
important data.
Please note that Canon will not be held responsible for any damages caused by the loss of data.
You can backup/export data in the following ways:

Import/Export All
•
Import/Export Individually
You can back up/export the following data:
Data You Can Import/Export All
You can save/load multiple items at once. In addition,
you can exchange data with this machine and other
machines which support the Import/Export All
function.
You cannot use the Import All function, depending
on the recipient's machine model. For more
information, contact your local authorized Canon
dealer.

The passwords and PIN are backed up at the same
time. However, some of the passwords may not be
backed up, depending on the type of the password.

If your machine is not connected to a network, it is
recommended that you print and store important
information such as the Address Book. (See e-Manual
> Basic Operations.)
