Installing the WWAN card
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task
The following image indicates the location of the WWAN card and provides a visual representation of the installation procedure.
Steps
1. Align the notch on the WWAN card with the tab on the WWAN-card slot and slide the WWAN into the M.2 slot on the
system board.
2. Connect the antenna cables to the connectors on the WWAN card.
3. Align and place the WWAN-card bracket and tighten the single (M2x2.5) screw securing it to the system board.
4. Replace the WWAN-card shield over the WWAN card.
NOTE:
Insert the edges of the WWAN-card shield into the clips on the system board to secure it in place.
