Install the printer driver. (
At the printer connection screen, select "Local Printer". Do not select
"Network Printer".
The port used by the printer changes after installation, so select LPT1 or any
desired port.

Install the LPR Port utility on the software CD-ROM provided with the
printer.
Important
In some operating environments, the Setup Menu window appears as soon as the
CD-ROM is mounted in the CD-ROM drive. If this occurs, click the Quit button
then follow the procedure from Step 2 above.

Mount the provided software CD-ROM in the computer CD-
ROM drive.
On the desktop, double-click the My Computer icon, click the
CD-ROM Disk icon, then from the File menu select Open.
Open the Lprport folder.
Double-click the Setup file icon (Setup.exe) to execute.
Follow the instructions on the screen to perform the installation.
On the desktop, click the Start button, point to Settings, then
click Printers.
