Alternatively, run the sg_inq /dev/sciniX SCSI query command (requires that
the sg3_utils be installed on the Linux host). The result of this command includes the
EMC volume ID at the bottom of the output, as illustrated:
Note:
The product identification remains as ScaleIO (not VxFlex OS).
The following table lists the TCP ports that are used by VxFlex OS. Prior to installing
or upgrading a system, ensure that these ports are not in use by other processes.
If they are in use, either free them or change them to another available port.
Note:
When using a firewall in the switch, you must enable the relevant ports and
protocols for proper communications between the AMS and the host, SVMs and
iDRAC. See "iDRAC access ports".

PORT>
The ADC uses this port to listen to
broadcasts and set IP requests from
the ADS during the discovery
process.
The AMS uses this port to transmit
discovery broadcast requests and
set IPs to SVMs and hosts.
<NE
SDCs connect through this port for
tgt_port=
data communications and to the
W_PORT>
MDM for meta-data
communications. When multiple
SDSs are installed on the same
physical server, use ports 7072+
where
example, 70721, 70722).
<NE
The VxFlex OS Installer connects to
lia_port=
the LIA to perform installation and
W_PORT>
maintenance-related operations.
