Playback Procedure (PLAY Mode)
Before playback, make sure that all connection procedures are
completed (pp. 44-49).

Positioning the video camera
For playback on a connected TV, position video camera with
the hand grip and wireless controller on top and use the
operating buttons on the wireless controller.
•When changing video cassettes during playback, open video
cassette compartment cover.
•To operate the camera, the remote sensor must receive the
infrared signals emitted when the wireless controller
operating buttons are pressed.
To facilitate reception, point the attached wireless controller's
transmitter at a wall, or place a stack of magazines near the
wireless controller.
1. Turn camera on.
•CAMERA indicator (red) lights up.

Press MODE SELECT button to select PLAY
mode.
•You must complete this step to begin playback.
•CAMERA indicator goes off, PLAY indicator (green)
lights up and the connected TV monitor appears blue.

Load video cassette in camera.
• For loading procedure, see page 27.

Locate playback starting point.
•Use FF/ © or REW/ © buttons to locate starting
point or use fast forward/rewind playback or high-speed
search (see p. 52).
5.
Press PLAY ► button to start playback.
•You can monitor playback in viewfinder.
6.
Press STOP ■ button to end playback.
