The feature set provided by this firmware is not identical to that of the firmware designed and built for use with Cisco Unified Communications Manager, but there are many similarities.

Q: How do I get technical support during firmware migration? A: For customers ordering firmware migration licenses, if they do not have an existing service contact with Cisco, they will need to add the applicable service SKU from the list below at the time of ordering firmware migration licenses to get SW only (No RMA) support.
The following steps will convert a single 78xx or 88xx phone from Enterprise firmware to MPP. Check the 7800 Series phone version. You must flip the 78xx phone over to determine if the 78xx phone is eligible based upon Table1 above. For example, the phone screenshot below contains V01. Therefore, it is ineligible for upgrade.
