Important Safety Instructions CAUTION Brother is not liable for damage to any equipment caused by improper installation of this equipment to any power source. Important • The Battery Eliminator Kit must be securely installed and NEVER installed where it may come in close contact with the vehicle operator or passenger. - Page 3 Install the Dummy Battery Pack Unlock and pull out the printer’s battery cover. Insert the Dummy Battery Pack assembly until it locks into place. 1 Dummy Battery Pack Note DO NOT lose the battery cover as you will need to reattach it later. Connect the Joint Cable of the Power Adapter (2) and the Power Cable of the Dummy Battery Pack (3) until they lock into place.
- Page 4 If the LED is lit in red: a) Disconnect the printer from the power supply. b) Turn off the vehicle power. c) Reconnect the printer to the power supply. If the LED color is still red, contact your local Brother dealer.
- Page 5 Connect the Battery Eliminator to the Vehicle Power Supply Turn on the printer. The connection icon appears on the printer's LCD when the Battery Eliminator is connected. Install the correct media in the printer. Press the Feed button to check that the printer is correctly connected and the media has been correctly installed.
