    Warning and Safety instructions Please read the operating instructions before using the air purifier for the first time. They contain important information for your safety, as well as information on using and maintaining the air puri- fier. To avoid the risk of accidents or damage, it is essential to read the operating instructions carefully before using the appliance for the first time.

     Do not make any alterations to the air purifier, unless authorised to do so by Miele.  To ensure the correct performance of the air purifier and to prevent the risk of faults, it is important to carry out maintenance on a regular basis.
  • Page 7 Miele cannot accept liability.  Faulty components may only be replaced by genuine Miele spare parts. Miele can only guarantee the safety standards of the appliance when Miele spare parts are used.  In the event of a fault and for cleaning and maintenance purposes, the air purifier must be disconnected from the power supply.

    Product description Functional description The Miele air purifier draws in atmospheric air at the bottom via the air intake vents in the plinth (). The pre-filters () filter coarse dust out of the air. The air is conveyed upwards by the fan inside the air purifier and is pushed through the main filter and the active charcoal fil- ter ().

    Using the machine Initial commissioning Before carrying out initial commissioning, it is important to check that the air purifier is installed in accordance with appropriate use guidelines. After installation, allow the air purifier to adjust to room temperature. Check the air purifier, the plug and the mains connection cable for damage.
