With the 5W GSM/EDGE TRXs, MetroSite can operate with either GSM or EDGE transmission. If the MetroSite BTS still contains 1W TRXs, a higher capacity cooling fan and a different power supply unit must also be fitted to the BTS when the TRXs are upgraded to 5W GSM/EDGE TRXs. -
