Volume & vibrate
Find it: Swipe up from the home screen and tap
» Drag the volume sliders to set volume levels for your music or videos, alarms, and ringtones/
notifications.
» To make your phone vibrate for incoming calls (even when the ringer is silent), tap Vibration &
haptics > Ring vibration.
Tip: Feel a vibration when you tap the screen. Tap Vibration & haptics > Touch feedback to turn it
on/off.
Audio adjustment
Play audio in mono and adjust volume balance.
Find it: Swipe up from the home screen and tap
» Mono audio: To play audio in mono, tap the switch next to Mono audio to turn it on.
» Audio balance: To have more volume in the left or right ear, drag the slider to the left or right.
Hearing devices
You can use hearing aids, cochlear implants, and other amplification devices with your phone.
Find it: Swipe up from the home screen and tap
» Add devices: Tap Pair new device, and then tap your available hearing device to connect it.
» Add the shortcut: Tap the switch next to Hearing device shortcut to turn it on.
» Improve compatibility: To improve audio and sound for compatible hearing devices, set your
hearing devices to M (acoustic coupling), or T (telecoil coupling). Then tap the switch next to
Hearing aid compatibility to turn it on.
Hearing aids (U.S. only)
This phone is hearing aid compatible as determined by ANSI C63.19-2019.
The ANSI C63.19-2019 standard does not use the M/T rating system for showing the hearing aid
compatibility of the phone that older versions of the standard used, instead, the 2019 version of the
standard uses the conversational gains for the phone's hearing aid compatible capabilities.
