Since devices with Bluetooth wireless technology communicate using radio waves, they do not need to be in direct line-of-sight. Bluetooth devices must, however, be within 10 meters (33 feetl of each other, although the connection may be sub j ect to interference from obstructions such as walls or from other electronic devices.

Persons who have such devices should: - Always keep the wireless device more than 15.3 centimetres (6 inches) from the medical device - Not carry the wireless device in a breast pocket.
