  • Page 13 IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS The ducting must never be installed in any of the following flues or  shafts: - Chimneys or smokestacks that are in use. - Shafts that are used to ventilate installation rooms with fireplaces. - Flues that are used by third parties. Smoke or exhaust gas that is fed back into the flue or shaft may be toxic.
  • Page 14 If, however, you do wish to descale your washing machine, only use proprietary non-corrosive descaling agents. Special descaling agent is available from your Miele dealer or from Miele Customer Service. Strictly observe the instruc- tions for the descaler.

Incorrect installation may increase water and energy consumption and may cause the machine to move about. The four adjustable feet are used to level the washing machine. All of the feet are screwed in when the appliance is delivered.

Turn the counter  nut (2) again using the wrench supplied until it sits firmly up against the casing. All four counter nuts must sit firmly up against the housing.
