Page 146 Using DOS Programs USING POWER MANAGEMENT IN DOS MODE If you run a program or application using a boot diskette, power management features normally initiated from the hard disk drive at boot up are bypassed. You can enable power management features in MS-DOS. To enable power management and change the diskette start-up files when running programs from diskette, follow the instructions given here for your operating system.
