3. Turn off the tablet and connect the tablet to the keyboard dock. If the status indicator on the keyboard dock (the illuminated dot in the ThinkPad logo) lights up for a moment, it means that the keyboard dock built-in battery is functional.

Lenovo nor Lenovo authorized service technicians provide any services to reset either the user or the master hard disk password, or to recover data from the hard disk drive. The only Lenovo and Lenovo authorized servicer solution to put the system back to operational status would be to replace the drive for a scheduled fee.
