Step 3 – plan your configuration Suggested Deployment A typical EdgeMarc 4500 installation uses the Ethernet WAN port in conjunction with a broadband modem or gateway router. The LAN ports of the EdgeMarc 4500 are then used for connection to PCs, servers, IP phones or other layer 2 Ethernet switches.
