Preparing the Ink Cassette

Donotholdtheinkcassettewithwethands.Avoidtouchingtheinksheet,andavoid
gettingdustonit.Dirtormoisturemaycausebandingoraffectprintquality,tearink
sheetsandpreventprinting,ordamagetheprinter.

Whenturningthesprocket,turnitgently,onlyuntilthesheetistaut.Forcingthe
sprocketorovertighteningitmaytearinksheetsandpreventprinting,orSELPHYmay
runoutofinkbeforepaper.
•
Neverreuseinkcassettes,whichmaydamagetheprinterorcausemalfunction.

Check the ink cassette and ink sheet.

thesize(suchas"PostcardSize"or"CardSize")tomake
sureitmatchesthesizeofpaperyouwillprinton.

Makesuretheinksheetistaut.Looseinksheetsmaytear
whenloaded.Ifthesheetisloose,turnthesprocketas
shown.

Foraninkcassettethathasalockonthebottom,pressthe
lock(asshown)toreleaseitasyouturnthesprockettomake
thesheettaut.

Check the size on the paper cassette (such as "Postcard
Size"or"CardSize")tomakesureitmatchesthesizeofthe
inkcassette.

Open both covers.

Load the paper.

Loadthepaperinthepapercassette.

Thepapercassetteholdsupto18sheets.Loading19or
