This product is designed to achieve excellent performance when used with genuine
CanonColorInk/PaperSetsforSELPHYCPprinters.Canonshallnotbeliableforany
damagetothisproductcausedbytheuseofnon-genuineCanonColorInk/PaperSets
forSELPHYCPprinters.
•
Neverdothefollowing.Thismaydamagetheprinterorcausemalfunction.

Loadingpaperupside-down,withtheglossyandbacksidesreversed

Bendingorseparatingpaperattheperforationsbeforeprinting

Usinglabelpaperwhoseupperlabelsurfaceispeelingofforhasbeenpartiallypulled
up

Writingonpaperbeforeprinting

Reusingpaper,suchasprintingonblankareas
•
Donottouchthespringsonthepapercassette.Accidentallybendingthespringsmay
preventefficientpaperfeeding.

Notethatonespringisattachedinthecenteronthetopofcard-sizepapercassettes.
•
Avoidtouchingorrubbingtheglossy,printingsideofthepaper.Donothandlepaper
withwethands,andkeeppaperfreeofdust.Dirtormoisturemaycausebandingor
affectprintquality,ordamagetheprinter.

When making postcard prints with space for a stamp, load
thepaperwiththestampareafacingasshown.

Close the inner cover.

Closetheinnercoverfirmlyuntilitclicksintoplace.

Leavetheoutercoveropenwhenprinting.

Open the covers.

Opentheinkandpapercompartmentcovers.

Load the ink cassette.

Insert the ink cassette into the printer in the direction of the
arrowonthecassetteuntilitclicksintoplace.

Closetheinkcassettecompartmentcover.
