Connecting to the NE2572 This section describes how to connect to the Lenovo ThinkSystem NE2572 RackSwitch. ONIE on the NE2572 The Lenovo ThinkSystem NE2572 RackSwitch comes out of the box with Lenovo Cloud Network OS (CNOS) already installed on the switch. The switch also has ONIE pre-installed, however to ensure maximum security it is deactivated by default. To enable ONIE on the switch, see “ONIE Activation”...
ONIE Activation The ThinkSystem NE2572 RackSwitch comes out of the box with ONIE pre-installed, however it is disabled by default. To activate ONIE on the switch, use the following steps: 1. Connect to the device as shown in “Connecting to the NE2572” on page 6 and then boot up the switch.
