Chapter 1. Getting to know your computer Setting hotkey mode By default, the hotkey functions are accessible by pressing the appropriate hotkey. However, you can disable the hotkey mode in the BIOS setup utility. To disable the hotkey mode: Shut down the computer. Press the Novo button and then select BIOS Setup.

Lenovo OneLink connector, you need to remove the connector cover from the Lenovo OneLink connector first. Note: Ensure that you keep the connector cover. Reattach it to the Lenovo OneLink connector when you are not using the Lenovo OneLink connector.

The first time you plug a USB device into a particular USB port on your computer, Windows automatically installs a driver for that device.

Lenovo OneKey Recovery System Where are the recovery discs? Your computer did not come with any recovery discs. Use the Lenovo OneKey Recovery System if you need to restore the system to its original factory status. What can I do if the back-up process fails? If you can start the backup but it fails during the back-up process, try the following steps: Close all open programs, and then restart the back-up process.
