Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool.
9
do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication.
8
Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes,
9
hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
8
do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair and clothing away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair
8
can be caught in moving parts.
The use of a dust extraction system may reduce dust-related hazards.
8
do not let familiarity gained from frequent use of tools allow you to become complacent and ignore tool safety principles.
8
do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. The correct power tool will do the job better and safer
8
at the rate for which it was designed.
do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is
8
dangerous and must be repaired.
Disconnect the battery pack, from the power tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools. Such
9
preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally.
Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions to
9
operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
Maintain power tools and accessories carefully. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other
9
condition that may affect the power tool's operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use.
Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier
9
to control.
Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc. in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the working conditions
9
and the work to be performed. Use of the power tool for operations different from those intended could result in a hazardous
situation.
Keep handles and gripping surfaces dry, clean and free from oil and grease. Slippery handles and gripping surfaces do not allow

electrical lines may result in fire and electric shock. Damaging a gas line may lead to an explosion. Penetrating a water line causes
property damage and may cause an electric shock.
Hold the power tool by its insulated gripping surfaces when performing an operation where the cutting accessory may contact hidden
9
wiring or its own cord. Cutting a "live" wire may make exposed metal parts of the power tool "live" and could give the operator an
electric shock.
Use clamps or another practical way to secure and support the workpiece to a stable platform.
9
Vibrations can be harmful to the human hand-arm system. Keep the vibration exposure time to a minimum.

9
do not work on moistened material or moist surfaces.
8
Only hold the power tool against the workpiece when the tool is switched on and running. Otherwise there is a risk of kickbacks.

9
kickback.
Keep your hands out of the sawing area. do not reach underneath the workpiece.
9
Keep your hands away from guide shoe and quick-release chuck. Crushing hazard upon contact with these components.
9
Ensure sufficient ventilation.
9
Regularly check the quick-release chuck for wear or damage.
9
Only use intact, flawless saw blades. Bent and blunt saw blades could break or cause a kickback.
9
do not attempt to slow down the saw blade movement by pressing against the blade from the side once the device is switched
8
off. The saw blade could be damaged, break or cause a kickback.
Switch off the power tool when your operation is completed, but do not remove the saw blade from the kerf (cut) until it has come
9
to a standstill. This serves to avoid a kickback, then you can put the power tool down safely.
