A Lenovo Flex System network adapter must be installed in each compute node with which you want to communicate. To enable the switch to communicate with a compute node, at least one switch must be installed in the Lenovo Flex System chassis. Note: I/O bays 1 and 2 support any standard Lenovo Flex System switch or pass-thru module.
