Remove the Packing Material and Position the Printer
Tape, spacers, and other packing material are attached to the printer to
protect it during shipping. All of this packing material must be removed
before you use the printer.
Important
Save the printer box and all packing material. You will need these items again if
you need to move or ship the printer.

Remove all of the tape attached to the covers.

Remove the tape, protective sheets, and the printhead.
