Product overview This section will provide information on adjusting monitor positions, setting user controls, and using the cable lock slot. Types of adjustments Tilt Please see the illustration below for an example of the tilt range. 0° Swivel With the built-in pedestal, you can tilt and swivel the monitor for the most comfortable viewing angle.
Height adjustment For height adjustment, user needs to press down or lift up the monitor. 155mm Monitor pivot - Adjust the screen position before rotating the monitor screen. (Make sure that the monitor screen ascent to its highest point, and it inclines backward at 23.5°.) - then rotate clockwise until the monitor stops at 90°.
Monitor controls Your monitor has controls on the front and back which are used to adjust the display. For information on how to utilize these keypad controls, please see “Adjusting your monitor image”on page 2-3. Smart Feature This section describes how to use the Smart Features of this monitor. Presence detection The screen will dim when it is detected that the user is away. The screen will be turned off gradually 5 seconds after the function is triggered. The power indicator will start blinking every 0.5 seconds Fast / Normal / Slow: Refers to the response speed from when the user is away to when the screen starts dimming...
Distance warning The monitor can detect the distance between the user and itself. When the distance reaches a specific range, a prompt icon will appear on the upper-left corner of the screen. The icon blinks at the frequency of 1 second for 20 seconds. The prompt will continue if the distance remains unchanged.
Selecting a supported display mode The display mode of the monitor uses is controlled by the computer. Therefore, refer to your computer documentation for details on how to change display modes. The image size, position and shape might be changed when the display mode changes. This is normal and the image can be re-adjusted using automatic image setup and the image controls.
Understanding power management Power management is invoked when the computer recognizes that you have not used your mouse or keyboard for a user-definable period. There are several states as described in the table below. For optimal performance, switch off your monitor at the end of each working day, or whenever you expect to leave it unused for long periods during the day.
Caring for your monitor Be sure to turn off the power before you perform any maintenance on the monitor. Do not: Apply water or liquid directly to your monitor. Use solvents or abrasives. Use flammable cleaning materials to clean your monitor or any other electrical equipment. Touch the screen area of your monitor with sharp or abrasive items.
