    PRINTER OPTIONS VERVIEW The SuperScript 4650 Series printers have several easily installed options. For models 4650 and 4650N, a second 250- sheet tray can be added for an extended 500 sheet input. Additional DIMMs can increase random-access memory (RAM). The addition of a SuperScript NIC can gain you networking capability and you can add versatility with a Legal Paper Tray.

    The Operator Panel will display the TONER EMPTY message when the toner level is getting low. To order an NEC SuperScript 4650 Series Toner Module contact your NEC printer dealer or see below. The black replacement modules print approximately 10,000 pages. The yellow, magenta, and cyan replacement modules print approximately 6,000 pages each.

    SuperScript 4650 Series — User’s Guide Misfeed Jams Misfeed jams happen in Paper Tray 1 or 2. A misfeed jam may be as simple as a sheet of media not being picked up, or it may be that the paper was picked up but not fed properly.

    Pressure Release Tabs. Remove the jammed paper by pulling it from the bottom of the fuser, through the printer’s Back Cover, not from the top of the Fuser area. This prevents any unfused toner from dirtying the Fuser Rollers (located under the Fuser Cleaning Roller).
