4.4 Clean the Registration units.
Before you start, switch
of the system with the
'moon button' on the
operator panel.
4.4.1
Clean the Z-registration sensors.
Rev 1,2,3,4 – Clean the Z-registration units in the Paper path module, Registration input
module Unit (2x) and Registration output module.
This action is considered to be normal maintenance actions which can be executed by every

4.4.2
Clean the SZ-rollers.
Rev 1,2,3,4 – Check if the SZ-rollers in the Paper path module, Registration input module
Unit, Print Module, Registration output module and stacker are contaminated.
When required, use PML and a dust-free cloth to clean the rollers.

4.4.3
Clean the segment-rollers.
Rev 1,2,3,4 – Open the lower and middle front doors from the print unit, turn the green
knob 1. Turn and lift the green knob 2
Check if the segment-rollers are
contaminated. When required, use PML
and a dust-free cloth to clean the
segments.
Be cautious not break the segments from the
wheels. When a segment is broken, inform the
local service organization.
