Standalone Configuration In the standalone configuration, any DSS/BLFs that need to appear in the Desktop Applications must be programmed on a physical button on the terminal or a DSS console attached to the terminal.

The Compact Phone mode is a valid UI mode when the desktop application is connected to the telephone system using Deskset, IP Soft Phone or SIP only mode.
