If upgrading from a software version prior to 02.02.14:
•
U se 9803 - Initialize Distinctive Ringing to initialize Distinctive Ringing. Following
initialization, you must reset the system or unplug and then replug each telephone .
Refer to the Software Manual on your System Document CD for more.

Use 9804 - Initialize Caller ID Log Utility to initialize (clear) your Caller ID logs.
Refer to the Software Manual on your System Document CD for more.

Be sure your system's hardware configuration does not exceed the System Load
Factor. See DS2000 Load Factor Calculations on page 1-3 for more.
When installing station devices with software version 02.02.14 or higher:
•
Digital station ports (on installed and programmed PCBs) automatically detect the
type of connected device when the keyset, 2-OPX Module (both ports) or Digital
Door Box is plugged in. It is no longer necessary to individually set circuit types
1801 - Extension Circuit Type .
This software uses the following hardware default assignments:
•
Slot CN1 = 16DSTU PCB (Extensions 300-315).
•
Slot CN2-CN8 = Undefined.
When installing PCBs:
•
After plugging in your PCBs and powering up the system, use 9902 -Slot Control
to enable the installed PCBs. See Using Program 9902 in DS2000 to Add or Delete
PCBs in your Quick Setup Guide for more.
