Step 1.
Remove the fillers on the rear side of the riser cage.
Step 2.
Align and insert an adapter into the slot on the riser card. Make sure you install the adapter into the
right slot.

• For the detail connectors on the PCIe riser card, see
• Install one adapter at a time, do not insert two adapters to the riser card at the same time.
After you install an adapter, complete the following steps:
1. Reconnect the cables.
