To remove a DIMM, complete the following steps:

Note: To avoid breaking the retaining clips or damaging the DIMM connectors, handle the clips gently.
Step 1.
Carefully open the retaining clips on each end of the DIMM connector.
Step 2.
Make sure that both retaining clips are in the fully-open position; then, pull the DIMM out of the
connector.
