Figure 36. Removing the battery
Steps
1. Using the pull tab, disconnect the battery cable from the connector (BATT1) on the system board.
2. Peel off the tape securing the battery.
3. Loosen the five captive screws (M2x4.5, OD4.6, T0.8) that secure the battery to the palm-rest assembly.
4. Lift the battery off the palm-rest assembly.
