6-2 Troubleshooting SYSTEM REPAIR If the system cannot be operated by some reason, use Recovery Console to restore the system. However, this method is only recommended to users or administrators who have good knowledge of the system. When you have restored a damaged file by using Recovery Console, always update the system as described later in this chapter.

Insert the NEC EXPRESSBUILDER DVD into the drive of a computer that runs Windows Server 2003 or Windows XP/Vista.

You will need to update the system after you repair the system using Recovery Console. IMPORTANT: Make sure to follow the steps below when you have restored the system by using Recovery Console.
