NetBIOS Network Settings (Windows Me/Windows 98/Windows 95)
Here is a summary of the procedures required to set the printer for use on a
NetBIOS network.
Install the network interface board and connect the
network cable.
Follow the instructions in the Setup Guide to install the network interface board and connect the
network cable. The standard network-compatible printer does not require installation of the
network interface board; only the network interface cable must be connected.
Windows Settings for a NetBIOS Network
Perform the settings on every computer in the network to be used for printing.
This printer is not compatible with NetBIOS over TCP/IP (NetBT). If you are
using TCP/IP in the network environment, use the TCP/IP protocol to print.
