2. In the navigation pane, click Connection.
3. Scroll down to the Backup SSH Public Keys section, and click Backup Keys.
4. Accept the default location and file name, or modify them as required. Make a
note of these for future reference.
The default file name is <AMS_IP_address>_ssh_keys.txt.
5. Click Save.
Results
When the process is finished, the VxFlex OS GUI displays a confirmation message.

Before you begin
Ensure that you have user name and password for accessing the AMS server.
About this task
It is recommended that you back up SSH public keys to your local drive, for recovery
purposes.
When using secure mode during a VxFlex OS system recovery process, it is
recommended that you back up SSH public keys after you perform system
deployment or add/remove a server node.
If you do not backup SSH public keys, you can run the Recovery process in non-
secure mode. However, for the reason of system security, it is recommended that you
always use SSH public keys for system access.
Procedure
1. Log in to the AMS server.
2. For Linux as the AMS operating system, do any of the following:

a. Run the following command:
java –jar /opt/emc/scaleio/ams/webapps/ROOT/resources/
scaleio_repository EMC-ScaleIO-ams-cli-XXX.jar --
username <Username>
export_trusted_ssh_keys --file_name WANTED_FILE_NAME
Output, similar to the following, appears:
