VxFlex OS.mib file
The MDM native user/LDAP user in the lockbox must be assigned Monitor
l
privileges in addition to Backend Configurator privileges. The Backend
Configurator role does not automatically include Monitor privileges.

Procedure
1. Log in to the VxFlex OS GUI.
2. From the System Settings menu at the top right side of the window, in any
view, select System Settings
3. In the Set SNMP Configuration panel, add the first Trap Receiver by typing its
IP address in the Trap Receiver box, and the port number in the Port box.
4.
To add another Trap Receiver, click the Add button
type the additional IP address in the new Trap Receiver box, and the port
number in the new Port box.
5. Type a number in the Resend Frequency box.
Typing "0" will make the system use the default, which is a resend frequency of
10 seconds.
6. To send a test SNMP trap, click Test.
7. Click Save.
Results
The SNMP configuration has been added to the system.

The object source identifier in the trap
MDM.MDM_Cluster.SNMP_Server_Cannot_Connect_To_MDM is "NA".
